Dorothy Waxman Textile Prize — is an annual international design competition held in New York. The finalists are chosen on the basis of who best demonstrates innovative thinking and inspiring creativity in the field of textiles. The Dorothy Waxman Textile Design Award goes to Dorothy Waxman, the original driving force behind Trend Union and Edelkoort Inc. in the USA and a correspondent for View on Colour, Textile View and Viewpoint magazine. Waxman's insatiable curiosity and insight into the avant-garde have inspired Edelkoort and her team for decades.

Antonina Sedakova was selected as one of the 17 finalists for her unique print technique in the Communication Tube menswear collection. The jury chose 2 favorites - trench coats from Look 1 and Look 6, which were subsequently presented at the 'TALENT!' exhibition in Brooklyn as part of New York Textile Month from September 21 to October 1.
